Meet our experienced adventure guide for a private hiking tour of the secluded North side of Brač island. While driving along the curving panoramic island roads rising high above the famous Golden Horn beach, your chauffeur will make a stop at Vidova Gora viewpoint, the highest peak of all the Croatian islands. Enjoy the spectacular views that stretch all the way to Hvar, Vis and Korčula islands on a clear day.

Brač island tour continues to a secluded picturesque bay where the trekking begins. Hiking along the seashore and through aromatic pine forest towards the jaw-dropping Renaissance Blaca hermitage, your guide will suggest a short break, allowing for a refreshing dip in the crystal blue waters of the Adriatic. After a 40-60 minute scenic trek along the sea shore, continue uphill along the forest trail for another 45 minutes, where a most rewarding sight waits.

Erected by monks in the karst caves of Brač island, the beautifully preserved 16th century monastic community known as Blaca is home to exclusive furniture, paintings, libraries and a very large number of clocks, which showed time according to the most famous world observatories. It is also home to the third most powerful telescope in Croatia. Enjoy a guided tour of the hermitage (now a museum) before tasting local specialties that the Blaca monks used to produce. Saying goodbye to the keepers of the hermitage, a 30-minute uphill hike brings the trekking portion of this tour to an end. Your chauffeur will be waiting to take you to an authentic konoba where a delicious Croatian lunch completes this private hiking tour of Brač island and the Blaca hermitage.
